For 150 years Loughton Methodist Church has been an active part of the Community here in Loughton. This year we are remembering the past, celebrating the present and looking forward to the future. we would love you to be a part of our Celebrations.
On Sunday June 11th we kick off with our Service to launch the week-long celebrations. The service will run into a time of sharing food together.
Our Sunday June 18th service will be the culmination of our Celebrations, a real time of all ages celebrating together.
For a whole week there will be an exhibition in the church showing how Loughton Methodist has been sharing life, doing mission and building community over the last 150 years. Members of the church have created panels, gathered photos, recalled memories to celebrate what Loughton Methodist Church is and has been over 150 years.
On Saturday June 17th, come and have your face painted! Bounce! BBQ, Craft, Live Music, Photo booth, talk to friends old and new as we celebrate with the wider Loughton Community. We pray that this day will be an opportunity to make new connections with the Community. Join us as we Celebrate together.
Wesley’s café will be open as usual, serving tea, coffee and cake.
