Ramblers
If you like fresh air and a moderate walk of 5-7 miles – then this is the group for you. We walk approximately every 10 days on different days of the week and meet at 9.30am in the Car Park behind the church. Sometimes we walk from there into the Forest and at other times we drive to a point somewhere in Essex or Hertfordshire and do a circular walk, ending up at a local hostelry for lunch, then drive back to LMC for a cuppa in Wesley’s Café. London is also a venue for some very interesting walks with historical interest.
Various members of the group lead the walks and it is a good way both to exercise and make friends.
