Music @ LMC
Music@LMC started in 1988 as a result of musical interest both inside the Church and from the local community. The aim was to bring live music to Loughton at an affordable price. This enabled us to showcase musicians at either end of their musical careers.
Over the years we have been treated to concerts by many soloists and groups that have gone on to perform in premier locations around the country and internationally.
The annual Loughton Youth Music Festival is a real highlight. It provides a concert of a very high standard performed by the best young musicians from local schools, sharing their talents and gaining confidence in performance in preparation for their examinations. This Festival takes place in March each year and details will be advertised in The Grapevine, on line and in the press.
