Time & Talents
One thing that is so wonderful about human beings is that we are all unique; we all have our own talents and ways of doing things and no two people are exactly the same. This is something to rejoice in and, certainly, at LMC we enjoy that diversity.
As with Money Matters, we are regularly encouraged to think about what we can offer to the Church and the Community, in terms of our particular talents and interests and taking into account the time we have available in our lives. In any church there are many jobs to be done – from welcoming people to worship to making tea and coffee in Wesley’s Cafe and from taking a role on one of the Committees to working with children and young people. There is something for everyone and everyone can do something!
All this, of course, is part of our response, in thankfulness, to the gifts and blessings we have received from God.
