Home Groups

Home groups are a crucial part of our DNA. Sunday services are not the only time we can worship and learn and grow in faith. For many attending a home groups helps ‘keep the fire burning’. They are where we strengthen our faith by study of the Bible, relating it to real life issues in honest and open discussion, prayer and social activities. When Christians meet together like this, it affirms us in our faith, challenges us and is invariably fun!

Sometimes we have a series of themed preaching services at church, over two or three months, and all the home groups use the same themed material over that period. Otherwise, the groups are autonomous and use all sorts of material to study, including films, Christian books other than the Bible, and even paintings!

In the Bible, the Apostle Paul writes to his friends and asks them to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5: 11) and that’s what our home groups are all about.

We have many home groups. If you would like more information, please contact the Church Office 0208 5023071.
