Girls Brigade
The 1st Loughton Girls’ Brigade Company, a uniformed Christian youth organisation for girls aged 5-15 years, meets in the Wesley Hall on Thursday evenings during school term time from 6 pm to 7.30 pm.
The weekly programme includes activities such as games, crafts and seasonal items. During the year, other activities are arranged, such as theme nights, sleepovers, camps and trips out. They are led by a dedicated team headed by their Captain, Andrea Moles.
The aim of the Girls’ Brigade is to help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and, through self control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.
The Girls Brigade Motto is: Seek, Serve and Follow Christ
