0-18: Roots Children & Youth Ministry

We call our Children & Youth Ministry ‘Roots’ because our hope is that they will put deep roots in to God. We take our inspiration from Jeremiah 17:7-8

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted in water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of doubt and never fails to bear fruit”

We are passionate about giving children space to find out who they are in themselves and their communities. This helps children to feel they are safe to be who they are, and that their ideas, needs and views will be listened to and respected. All our workers have gone through the Safeguarding Policy procedures. If you would like to read our Safeguarding Policy, please click here.

Growing up can be exciting and confusing. We hope that belonging to a warm, accepting church can help them find their feet and discover an everlasting relationship with the creator of all things!
